Snoring

Snoring is the hoarse or harsh sound that occurs when air flows past relaxed tissues in your throat, causing the tissues to vibrate as you breathe. Nearly everyone snores now and then, but for some people it can be a long term problem which can affect both male and female but is generally more common amongst males.

During sleep, the muscles loosen, narrowing the airway, and with the presence of other factors such as alcohol intake, smoking, nasal problems and weight gain, further increases the likelihood of one snoring. Apart from being a nuisance to others in the bedroom, snoring can affect our health in the long term if left unaddressed.
